82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION
If you have a a member of your family or a friend that served in the 82nd Airborne Division in WWII, and you would love to know more, I may be able to help. Likewise, I would love to hear from you if you already know about your loved-ones experiences. I am particularly interested in any photographs or pieces of information you may have about their time in England.
IX TROOP CARRIER COMMAND.
If you have a member of your family or a friend that served in any capacity in IX Troop Carrier Command in WWII, and you would love to know more, I may be able to help. Be they ground crew, or air crew, statisticians, or in intelligence. Likewise, I would love to hear from you if you already know about your loved-ones experiences.
THE MERDERET CROSSINGS.
Do you have a friend or relative that fought at either of the Merderet crossing objectives of the 82nd (La Fiere & Chef Du Pont), or at any of the surrounding engagements that influenced the outcome of the battles there. For example, "Timmes Orchard", Gueutteville, Hill 30? If so, I would love to hear from you.
50TH TROOP CARRIER WING.
Did a friend or loved-one serve during WWII with the 50th Troop Carrier Wing or one of it's four Troop Carrier Groups (439th, 440th, 441st, 442nd)? If so, I would love to hear from you.
